Step by step directions for adding a search box to your FortuneCity.co.uk Web site:

Log into your siteLevel account. |
|
|
|

|
Click on the "Search Box Options" tab, and click on the "Get JavaScript Search Box
Code" link. |

Highlight the code for your JavaScript search box and, at the very top of your Web browser window (in
the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and "Copy" to copy the code. |

Visit http://www.fortunecity.co.uk/build/index.html and pick an editor (either the Basic Homebuilder or the
Advanced Homebuilder) and enter your username and password. |

|
BASIC HOMEBUILDER - If you are using the "Basic Homebuilder" to edit your
Web page, please continue with the following instructions. Otherwise, please refer to the "Advanced
Homebuilder" section below.

Select the radio button to the right of the filename that you would like to add your search box
to.

Click on the arrow icon next to "Edit Selected File".

Click on the "Edit Text" link on the left.
|

In the bottom frame in the middle of the page, put your cursor in the "Body Text" text box
where you would like to add your search box code.

At the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and
"Paste" to paste your code.

Click on the arrow icon above the editor frame.
|

Verify that your search box has been placed correctly. If you are happy with the
placement of your search box, proceed to Step 13 below.
If you would like to change the placement of your search box, please do the following:

Click on the "Edit Text" link on the left.
|

In the bottom frame in the middle of the page, highlight your search box code (starting with
"<!-- Begin siteLevel Search Box Code -->" and ending with "<!-- End siteLevel Search Box Code
-->").

At the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and
"Cut" to remove your search box code.

You may now try placing your search box again, going back to Step 9 above.

Click on the "Save" link on the left to save your changes.

ADVANCED HOMEBUILDER - If you are using the "Advanced Homebuilder" to edit
your Web page, please continue with the following instructions:

Check the checkbox to the right of the filename that you would like to add a search box to.
|

Click on the "edit" icon.
|

Put your cursor in your HTML code text box where you would like to paste your search box code.
|

At the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and
"Paste" to paste your search box code.

Click on the "Save Changes" icon at the bottom of the page.

Open the page that you just edited in a new browser window to verify that your search box
has been placed correctly. If you are happy with the placement of your search box, then you have successfully added your
search box to your site.
If you would like to change the placement of your search box, please do the following:

Go back to the browser window that is logged into your Fortune City account.

Click on the "Back" button of your browser.
|

In the HTML code text box, highlight your search box code.
|

At the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and
"Cut" to remove your search box code.

You may now try placing your search box code again, going back to Step 8 above.

Congratulations! You have successfully added your search box to your site!
