Step by step directions for adding a search box to your Above World Web site:
 
 
1. Print this page for easier reading.
 
2. Log into your siteLevel account.
 
3. Click on the "Search Box Options" tab, and click on the "Get JavaScript Search Box Code" link.
 
4. Highlight the code for your JavaScript search box.
 
5. At the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and "Copy" to copy your search box code.
 
6. Visit http://www.aboveworld.com and login to your account.
 
7. Click on the "File Manager" link.
 
8. Check the checkbox to the left of the file that you would like to add your search box to.
 
9. Click on the "Edit File" button.
 
10. Put your cursor in the HTML code where you would like to add your search box code.
 
11. At the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and "Paste" to paste your search box code.
 
12. Click the "Save you changes" button at the bottom of the page.

Open the Web page that you just edited in a new browser window to verify that your search box has been placed correctly.  If you are happy with the placement of your search box, then you have successfully added your search box to your site.
 
If you would like to change the placement of your search box, please do the following:
 
a Go back to the browser window that is logged in to your Above World account.
 
b Click on the "Back" button of your browser.
 
c Highlight your search box code (starting with "<!-- Begin siteLevel Search Box Code -->" and ending with
"<!-- End siteLevel Search Box Code -->").
 
d At the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and "Cut" to remove your search box code.
 
e You can now try placing your search box code again, going back to Step 10 above.
 
 
Congratulations!  You have successfully added your search box to your site!
